Founded in December 2025, Yazh Kalaiyagam is a UAE-based cultural institution preserving and proudly performing the traditional folk arts of Tamil Nadu. تأسست في ديسمبر 2025، يازه كالايياغام مؤسسة ثقافية تاميلية في الإمارات، تسعى للحفاظ على الفنون الشعبية التاميلية التقليدية وإحيائها على المسارح.

Yazh Kalaiyagam made their first stage appearance at Ameeraga Thamizhagam's Pongal celebration, Abu Dhabi. Special thanks to Dr. Ravichandran, Mr. Sreenivasan and Mrs. Aparna Sreenivasan.قدّم يازه كالايياغام أول عرض مسرحي له في أبوظبي.
Master Tharun (age 7) asked "Why only cinematic dance? What about our traditional dances?" — the question that redirected the entire family toward Tamil folk arts.سأل Master Tharun (7 سنوات) "لماذا الرقص السينمائي فقط؟" — السؤال الذي غيّر مسار الأسرة.
IHF Al Dhannah 2023 — Master Tharun and Master Narkavin performed Puravi Attam. This led to YAZH Kudumbam at Thamizha Thamizha, Sharjah. On International Women's Day 2024, FAAH Group honoured Visalatchi Krishnan with the title "Marabu Kalaigalin Arasi" (Queen of Traditional Arts).في يوم المرأة 2024، منحت مجموعة FAAH Visalatchi Krishnan لقب "ملكة الفنون التراثية".
SAKYA Academy, Madurai honoured YAZH Kudumbam as an "Excellent Folk Art Family". Kummi and Silambam added to repertoire. Performances at Kattral Education Dubai.جائزة SAKYA "أفضل عائلة للفنون الشعبية". إضافة كومي وسيلامبام لقائمة الفنون.
Yazh Kalaiyagam established as a structured cultural institution. Inniyam Parai Kuzhu joined as performance partner, launching PARAI programs across the UAE.تأسّس يازه كالايياغام رسمياً كمؤسسة ثقافية. بدأت عروض البارائي في جميع أنحاء الإمارات.
18 members performed professionally at BAPS Mandir Abu Dhabi — entered the Lincoln Book of Records, Ameeraga Thamizhagam and events across all Emirates. Parai is the sacred percussion art of Tamil Nadu, played on a goat-skin frame drum. Yazh Kalaiyagam's 10+ member professional Parai troupe performs across the UAE, preserving this ancient rhythm tradition rooted in Tamil temple and folk culture. البارائي هو فن الإيقاع المقدس في تاميل نادو، يُعزف على طبلة جلدية. تؤدي فرقة بارائي الاحترافية المكونة من 18 عضواً في يازه كالايياغام هذا التراث الإيقاعي القديم في جميع أنحاء الإمارات.
Marakkal Attam, or False Leg Dance, is a traditional Tamil stilt dance performed on wooden leg extensions. It demonstrates balance and rhythm, and is taught at Yazh Kalaiyagam as part of the ten traditional Tamil folk art forms. رقصة القدم الخشبية (مرقَّل أتام) هي رقصة تاميلية تقليدية تُؤدّى على عكازات خشبية، تُظهر التوازن والإيقاع، وتُعلَّم في يازه كالايياغام كجزء من الفنون التقليدية العشرة.
Mayil Attam, the Peacock Dance, is a vibrant Tamil folk dance performed in ornate feathered costumes mimicking the peacock's grace. Visalatchi Krishnan, Founder of Yazh Kalaiyagam, is renowned for her Mayil Attam performances across UAE stages. رقصة الطاووس (مايل أتام) هي رقصة تاميلية شعبية نابضة بالحياة تُؤدّى بأزياء مزخرفة بالريش تقلّد رشاقة الطاووس. تشتهر السيدة Visalatchi Krishnan، مؤسسة يازه كالايياغام، بأدائها لهذه الرقصة.
Kaalai Aattam, the Bull Dance, recreates the energy of Tamil Nadu's traditional Jallikattu culture through costume and choreography. This folk art form is part of Yazh Kalaiyagam's UAE-based performance repertoire. رقصة الثور (كالاي أتام) تُعيد إحياء طاقة تراث جاليكاتو التاميلي من خلال الأزياء والتصميم الحركي. هذا الفن الشعبي جزء من عروض يازه كالايياغام في الإمارات.
Puravi Attam, the Horse Dance, features dancers wearing elaborate horse-shaped costumes in a centuries-old Tamil folk tradition. Pulli Attam, the Tiger Dance, is a dramatic Tamil folk performance using tiger-print costumes and masks to portray the strength and spirit of the tiger — a celebrated art form taught and performed by Yazh Kalaiyagam in the UAE. رقصة النمر (بُللي أتام) هي أداء تاميلي شعبي دراماتيكي يستخدم أزياء وأقنعة بطبعة النمر لتجسيد قوة وروح النمر، وهو فن مُحتفى به يُعلَّم ويُؤدّى في يازه كالايياغام.
Oyilattam is a graceful group folk dance from Tamil Nadu performed with synchronised hand and body movements, often accompanied by Parai rhythms. It is one of the ten traditional art forms taught at Yazh Kalaiyagam, UAE. أويلاتام هي رقصة جماعية شعبية رشيقة من تاميل نادو تُؤدّى بحركات يد وجسم متزامنة، غالباً مصحوبة بإيقاعات البارائي. واحدة من الفنون العشرة التقليدية التي تُعلَّم في يازه كالايياغام.
Kummi is a traditional Tamil rhythmic clap-dance performed in a circle, often by women, celebrating harvest and festive occasions. Yazh Kalaiyagam added Kummi to its repertoire in 2025 following SAKYA Academy recognition. كومي هي رقصة تصفيق إيقاعية تاميلية تقليدية تُؤدّى في دائرة، غالباً من قبل النساء، احتفالاً بالحصاد والمناسبات. أضافها يازه كالايياغام إلى فنونها عام 2025 بعد تقدير أكاديمية ساكيا.
Silambam is an ancient Tamil martial art using a bamboo staff, recognised as one of the oldest weapon-based traditions in the world. Yazh Kalaiyagam offers Silambam training in the UAE, certified via Tamil University, Thanjavur. سيلامبام هو فن دفاعي تاميلي قديم يستخدم عصا من الخيزران، يُعدّ من أقدم تقاليد الأسلحة في العالم. يقدّم يازه كالايياغام تدريب سيلامبام في الإمارات، معتمَد من جامعة تاميل، تانجافور.
Maan Kombu, the Deer Antler dance, is a rare Tamil folk art form performed using deer-antler-style headgear, representing forest and nature deities in Tamil tradition. It completes the ten traditional art forms preserved by Yazh Kalaiyagam. مان كومبو، رقصة قرن الغزال، فن شعبي تاميلي نادر يُؤدّى بغطاء رأس على شكل قرون الغزال، يمثّل آلهة الغابة والطبيعة في التراث التاميلي. يكمل الفنون التقليدية العشرة التي يحافظ عليها يازه كالايياغام.
